Toy making and design began over 33 years ago as a way to create simple and sturdy toys which would appeal to "children" of all ages. It continues to be rewarding to create toys which can last a lifetime. They are to be played with or collected in the present and then passed on for future enjoyment.

Each toy is handmade from original patterns using pine or other softwoods for the main components and birch or maple for the turned parts. The final finish is non-toxic mineral oil. The toys are also available in hardwoods such as walnut and oak or a combination of the two and the result is a truly distinctive item.

The current collection of toys began with a few very simple items and has grown to an inventory of over 30+ designs.

Popular toys such as the train, school bus, airplane and VW bug have been produced from the beginning.

New designs are regularly added and older designs modified in order to keep the inventory current and interesting.

The first toys were very basic and built to easily roll back and forth. These very simple ones are still appropriate for the youngest customer. However, these basic toys are now complemented with toys designed to provide the child with an activity or something to do. This includes hooking or unhooking components, loading cargo or passengers, turning a spare tire, spinning a propeller, etc. However, the designs are still simple, recognizable and with a minimum of parts which can be broken or damaged. These toys can be used indoors or outdoors, painted, colored or otherwise modified by the owner. They are intended to be played with and then passed on to the next generation.
