Carol Wilcox Wells is the author of Creative Bead Weaving, 1996, The Art and Elegance of Beadweaving, 2002 and has compiled two other books on bead artists, 500 Beaded Objects: New Dimensions in Contemporary Beadwork, 2004 and Masters Beadweaving: Major works by Leading Artists, 2008.

She is enthralled with beads (can’t play with them enough), her husband (who doesn’t mind all the beads), and where she lives (way out in the mountains of western North Carolina).
