This piece was inspired by the 19th century orignal created by Elder Grove at the Hancock Shaker Village. It is solid cherry and measures 33"h x 50"w x 22"d. The most striking features of this piece are the dramatic overhangs at the ends and in the front that qualifies it to be called a Counter. This feature has been said to give it an "oriental" feel. Also note the assymetric drawer arrangement. I would be glad to talk to you about a commission for a similar piece made to your specifications.
