Jennifer & Mark: This commission was based on a tapestry titled “A Good Marriage.” Jennifer likes to cook, thus the fork and whisk earrings and vegetable bedecked dress. Her husband Mark is a fine wood worker, collects wooden boats, and is also a wonderful cook. This is my most recent work and as such represents fairly my current technique. Although the pair which constitutes a single work is decorative, it was my intention to capture their physical resemblance as well as a suggestion of personality and relationship. (c) 2005. Each tapestry is 15”W X 20”H.
