Expressive Sketching Workshop
Sunday, June 14th
1:30 – 3:30PM
Free
At the Flat Top Manor
The Moses H. Cone Memorial Park, Blowing Rock
With Margo Lemieux
Co-sponsored by Parkway Craft Center

The expressive sketching method is an ideal technique for a personal or travel sketchbook. Sketching allows the artist to experience a subject in a more meaningful way and is a perfect way to enjoy drawing while traveling or with limited time. In this workshop use the expressive sketching technique to capture the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain landscape. People of all levels are welcome. Children ages 10 to 17 are welcome with a participating adult. Ink wash, brushes & paper will be available at no charge or bring your own favorite materials.

Margo Lemieux, Professor of Fine Art at Lasell College, is a contributor to American Artist magazine, an exhibiting artist, and has presented art workshops for many years.

The workshop is free. Seating is limited; call (828)298-7938 to reserve your spot today! For more information, contact Parkway Craft Center at (828)298-7938.
