Tiger swallowtail butterfly earrings, hand tooled and painted on veg tanned leather.  Thin, slightly flexible and very light. The design is drawn on the leather, tooled, cut out and shaved down thin. They are then soaked with a leather dye that stiffens the leather, and shaped as they dry.  Finished with a coat of clear sealer.
