For over some 30+ years I have enjoyed creating & sewing useful products from up-cycled sweaters, like fingerless gloves, simple hats or microwavable pillows. Currently I am experimenting with Eco Printing using flowers & leaves on fabric and adding Meaningful quotes to towels or pillows using free motion sewing.
From the age of 14, I began to sew & create with fabric. As a profession I specialized in custom cushions & pillows for some 25 years. Utilizing the beautiful scraps from my business I created one of a kind hats becoming Guild Member in 2000. I made & sold hats for some 22 years doing local shows. Now retired mostly, I am enjoying experimenting with methods of Eco Printing and free motion sewing. I do demos periodically at the Folk Art Center.
