The mission of Tryon Arts & Crafts is to provide creative opportunities for everyone through education, instruction, and expression of heritage and contemporary arts and crafts in a friendly, stimulating and enriching environment.
Our beautifully renovated old school house contains professional studios in fiber arts, pottery, silver and jewelry, woodworking, lapidary, and multimedia, along with blacksmithing in our forge.
Our school has an extensive curriculum and our educators feature top-notch local artists. While the curriculum is designed to fit all levels of expertise, classes and workshops have relaxed environments that place all at ease. We encourage you to visit our school so you too can become a prized student and member.
The main exhibition gallery showcases local art in temporary exhibitions as well as in the permanent Heritage Collection. Quality handcrafted products are available in our Gift Shop.
