Each beadwork mask is an actual bead weaving. Woven not glued, the weaving is done over a cast armature of a real face. Imagine if the armature were to dissolve that the weaving would still have the shape of that face. Each of these sculptural beadwork faces takes 2 months to complete, containing tens of thousands of beads.
