I have had a passion for sculpture from an early age. My designs come from nature and from the love of line, form, and texture.
Sculpting with the cold-cast bronze process has brought new life to my creativity, resulting in a more permanent art form than chocolate and sugar.
An interesting crossover of techniques and tools are used to produce both forms of art.
My mission is to create art that others will enjoy.
I grew up in New York state between the Adirondack and Catskill mountains and now live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. I am a Certified Executive Pastry Chef with Emeritus status and have won numerous awards in pastry competitions. Working in the hospitality industry as a pastry chef and instructor of pastry arts for over 50 years, I created sculptures and other works of art from chocolate and sugar.
Since retiring, I have extended my passion for sculpting by using a process called cold-cast bronze, giving artistic works the look of the age-old bronze casting techniques without using a forge.
