Description
Felted landscapes are needle felted (a dry felting technique using barbed needles) onto a pre-felt backing. When the scene is complete the piece is wet felted using a hot soapy water and agitation. The piece will shrink approximately 20% during wet felting. It is rinsed and laid flat to dry. The final step is to steam iron and occasionally free motion stitching is done to accentuate some areas.
