Swirly Gig Birds vase When artist Meghan Bernard created this design, she was inspired by a family of House Wrens that invades her studio every spring. The carvings are so sweet and whimsical. Each piece is thrown porcelain on the wheel and then carved. After it dries, she inlays the carving with black slip and then hand paints the rest of the colors.
