Every Fain House item is printed from an original painting. Each painting begins with a first layer wash of walnut dye Annie Fain makes with walnuts gathered here in the good ol’ Appalachian Mountains of her childhood (and now adulthood). Following layers are a mix of watercolor, gouache and acrylic.

What exactly is a giclée print? A museum quality, digital print made using fade-resistant, archival inks resulting in richly colored, long lasting artwork (100+ years!)
