‘New Growth XIII – Mountain Leucothoe’ is a 3 plate soft-ground etching and engraving printed on Arches rag paper. Artist Jay Pfeil created this on one of her many hikes through these mountains. She is in the process of printing an edition of 95 signed, numbered and hand-pulled intaglio prints.

“I drew these plates on the trestle road trail in Montreat, NC where this beautiful plant lives in the company of a pine tree that I’ve also done an etching of. I am in the process of printing an edition of 95 signed, numbered and hand-pulled prints and no more than 12 proofs.”
