Artist Linda Caristo uses the very rare Plique a Jour enamel in sterling silver. Popular during the Art Nouveau Era and unlike the fragile antique jewelry these are made with a durable resin based enamel so they can be worn without the fear of breakage. Plique a Jour resembles stained glass windows in jewelry. Each piece is designed to catch the light so that the translucent colors can be seen.
